After more than a decade, Indiana Jones is back! This time, our favourite archaeologist, Indiana Jones is searching for the crystal skull, which is believed to have great powers. This time, Indiana's villain is a Russian woman, Irina Spalko. And the new movie introduces a new character, Mutt Williams, played by Shia LaBeouf of Transformers. Youngsters would not know much about Indiana, but after this movie, they'll surely be interested. As for the old fans, it will please them a lot. The movie was entertaining, a summer blockbuster, filled with many action scenes. One of my favourites was the forest scene, where the hero and the villain had a car-chase-fight around the forest to retrieve the crystal skull. For people who love adventures, this is the movie you are waiting for. As for the characterization, it was perfect. Shia LaBeouf added some comedy, and Indiana got a love-interest. Wee, weet! This movie gave me interest on Indiana Jones and therefore, it is so far movie of the year!

DIRECTING - A (Steven Spielberg and George Lucas teaming up to create another masterpiece)
SPECIAL EFFECTS - A (Best effects from an Indiana Jones movie, especially during the forest scenes)
ACTING - A (All actors know their character and played them well throughout the movie)
PLOT - A (The plot gives lots of suspense and pleasure to the audience, not to mention a very interesting plot)
Overall - A+

We had bugs, we had penguins, now let's give the spotlight to PANDAS! Everyone loves pandas, they're cute, chubby. This movie is very very suitable for children, as it teaches them many lessons about life. Adults would laugh at the film, as there are some comedy in it too. Of course, Jack Black, the famous comedian, is the panda, so chances of laughing; 100%. I'm very impressed with the voice actors, Angelina Jolie is in it, even Jackie Chan. So, the story is mainly about Po, a lazy nerdy panda who has to learn kongfu. His other friends, a crane, a tiger, a mantis, a viper and a monkey, are all kung fu experts. Can Po train himself to be like them and defeat the evil warrior Tai Lung? This movie doesn't have the comic jokes like in Madagascar and Shrek. It is still funny, but the movie focuses more on getting the viewers, mainly children, to learn something. Still, it shines brightly and is one of the best animated movies of the year.
